Access to the ballot box is fundamental to a functioning democracy. New York's Election Laws are antiquated and make it too difficult for average citizens to vote.
New York State should adopt the following measures :
- No cause absentee voting and voting by mail
- Early voting
- Same day registration
- Make it simpler to switch party enrollment
- Consolidate our Federal and State Primaries. (New York will hold 3 primaries and 1 general election in 2016)
- Create a professionalized and non partisan Board of Elections
