Access to the ballot box is fundamental to a functioning democracy. New York's Election Laws are antiquated and make it too difficult for average citizens to vote.

New York State should adopt the following measures :

  1. No cause absentee voting and voting by mail
  2. Early voting
  3. Same day registration
  4. Make it simpler to switch party enrollment
  5. Consolidate our Federal and State Primaries. (New York will hold 3 primaries and 1 general election in 2016)
  6. Create a professionalized and non partisan Board of Elections
